Re: Mike Ware's POP Pt./Pd. Pt

Hi Witho, the warming's not extreme but certainly is there... LiPd with
AFO gives me neutral or cool color (depending on paper). When I add
dichromate the color is nowhere near to cool - it's slightly warm /
warm-neutral. The color change is not as dramatic as when adding sodium
tungstate and/or exposing after force drying the paper... But it's
definitely not cool / cool-neutral.

What other points made you feel alien in our discussion with Sandy (very
curious)?

Best regards,
Loris.

Hello Loris,

I never had that experience. I am probably just confusing things. I am
almost getting the impression that I am printing a parallel universe. I
feel alien in your discussion with Sandy and I see that there is no
chemistry to develop.

And now for something completely different. I was wondering these days
if you had any results with cyanotype rex.

Regards,

Witho

Hi Witho, my experience w/ dichromate was warming the print color, not
cooling it... (LiPd + AFO)

...

Dichromate causes a colour change in POP/palladium-only! It makes the
print neutral in tone!
