AS promised I am sharing the results of prints made with AFO and platinic
acid. The prints made on Saturday were made with the same coating solution
but one had two drops of platinic acid @ 1%. The prints had a coating
solution of 1.0 ml of AFO and .6ml of Ammonium Palladium and .4ml of a 50/50
mix of Sodium Palladium and Potassium based Platinum. (I was making some
other 50/50 prints and just used a little of that mix.)

The prints had no discernable grain difference, but there is a color
difference. The print with boost is warmer than the print with NO boost.
They was processed in 5% disodium EDTA.

I will run a few more tests and would be careful about drawing any absolute
conclusions, but that was contrary to what one might think. And once again,
I saw no effervescence when adding the platinum acid to my solution.
