I've experimented with this product to coat inkjet prints on paper. I could not get the coating perfectly smooth with any hand-applied technique I tried. I also tried spraying, and that worked better. However, you'll need an air compressor/gun set-up, ventilated space, and must deal with the noise. It seems to be a good product. If you figure out how to apply it. Smaller prints are much easier than larger.
