Re: gold toner



Very interesting- do toners (gold) that come in a kit become less stable
than the kind one makes from scratch like the one gram of gold to ammon.
thiocyanate?
Is the Gold protection package as in Berg similar to a real gold toner?
Mike Robinson, the Albumen expert uses the Gold protectant instead of Gold
toner for toning.
I have been having those blank, blank spots post processing from ? fixer or
Gold in the thiocyanate solution as Chicago Albumen Works suggest rather
than the kits where I nevre had those spots.
Any suggestions?
