This is not a toner, but in my experience, mixture of gold chloride or chloroauric acid with active sulfur compounds like thiocyanate does not keep well. I use such a mixture to chemically sensitize negative emulsions, but I add these agents directly to the emulsion so as to avoid this problem. Ryuji
