It's been ages since I did this, but I seem to recall we used India ink
with some acetone added, with fine Speedball nibs. I tried using a
fountain pen, but never found one with a fine enough nib. At one time,
Kodak (and others) sold ink formulated for this purpose, but it's
doubtful they still do.
