RE: labeling on negative film base



DEAR SANDY,
	I had the subject of a photograph sign a print with a Sharpie.  The
area around the signature became bleached within a few years.  I worry what
this might do to a negative.

Try a Sharpie with a red ink, or any permanent marker with red ink.
