Perhaps I've not read the posts prior to this so your neg sizes are  
not known to me.
You can purchase an Epson 3000 for pennies these days and it does to  
16x20. Where
I teach, our print-making dept. has used a transparency material and  
a unique ink of
strong black quality to make their negs. If you are interested I will  
track the materials down for
you.
