Because I was curious... that's the first time I've seen the term applied to that cockamamie system... it may be apt (I've got to check Websters) so for better or worse, my dear, it's (almost certainly) got to be you !!!

Webster's 3rd International really is marvelous. (I just wish the type didn't keep getting smaller.) It has two dandy paragraphs quite fully defining "titration," and clearly that's what Paul Anderson thought he was doing.

He had, in other words, a titration fantasy.
