Webster's 3rd International really is marvelous. (I just wish the type 
didn't keep getting smaller.) It has two dandy paragraphs quite fully 
defining "titration," and clearly that's what Paul Anderson thought he was 
doing.

He had, in other words, a titration fantasy.
