Re: upcoming shows
Chris,
Congrats on your shows and process names. Wish we could see what's
hanging.
Would you consider platigum instead of gummiplat, unless the latter
connotes the printing sequence?

Good Morning All,
I wanted to say that my work will be in two shows the month of
February in case anyone is in the area of either:
Kucera Gallery
100 N. Shoreline Blvd
Corpus Christi, TX
The show is called Amy Holmes George/Christina Z. Anderson:
Dreamscapes/Socialscapes. This show is all gum-bichromate and
mordancage, on my part, anyway. Amy and I were both grad students of
Sam Wang's so it's kind of fun that we will both be showing together
at the same time Sam's show is up in TN!
Then in Maine:
Photography as Witness
9 February through 9 March, 2007
University of Maine Lord Hall Galleries
Department of Art
219 Lord Hall
University of Maine
In this show there will be 8 large Katrina images: gummiplat,
cyanogum, cyanoplat, and just plain ol' platinum. Please forgive my
new process names.
Needless to say, getting the work finished and out the door last week
after being out of town a month explains why I have not even begun to
go through list mail. I need to put my two cents in about dark gum and
then calibrating/working with solarplate this week.
I don't have either show on my website yet...the Katrina imagery in ME
is all new work, the show in TX has about 9 new pieces out of 26 that
are not on my website. Oh for a program that will enable me to just
whip them up on a page myself....
