RE: Has anyone used =?UNKNOWN?Q?Weston=92s?= Diploma Parchment paper?
Yes, I posted some info to the list a couple months ago about this paper. I've used it for pt/pd printing and it works very well. I've also heard of good results for other iron-based processes. It's not suitable for gum, gum over platinum or any other multi-layer process. It's a little on the thin side and a little more yellowish than I'd like, but otherwise a very easy paper to print with. Has anyone used Weston's Diploma Parchment paper for alt-photo processes? Couldn't find mention of it in the list archives. "Weston's Diploma Parchment for Platinum-Palladium Photo Printing" http://www.butlerdearden.com/Weston.aspx I'd never heard of it before today. It seems to be new, and I'm willing to try a sample with cyanotype and VDB. Back to lurking, Karen Molloy (P.S. Hi to all who might remember me here on the list many years ago. I still print, and I occasionally lurk here.) -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web.com – Enhanced email for the mobile individual based on Microsoft® Exchange - http://link.mail2web.com/Personal/EnhancedEmail |
