That's extremely interesting, too, which you may not realize because you know it already ! Thanks. (Makes me think of, for instance, PH (HP?) Emerson & his remarks about other artists, tho I suppose every period and evey form has its know-it-alls.)

I think also of some of the photo advice articles of the early 20th century amateur press that say how wonderful, perfect & natural photos that look ghastly, hideous and stupid to us are, then go on and on about faults in others that we can't even see !!
