Susan,

I'm doing the dance along with you! I purchased my NuArc for just a
little under your cost and drove the 3 hours up to Oklahoma to pick it
up about 4 months ago and it has been chugging away ever since. Let me
suggest that you purchase bulbs for it from Freestyle Photo
(http://www.freestylephoto.biz) as their bulbs are $44.95 and work
just fine. I "think" they may be a lower wattage than the bulbs direct
from NuArc, but with the light integrator that doesn't really matter
other than having longer exposure times.
