Does anyone know if the driver for the 3800 has all the same
settings as the 2200? 'Black ink only' is of particular interest to me.
Thanks!

Hi Mark
I know your learning about your new Epson 3800 printer and I
wondered if on your new Epson 3800 are there "pizza wheels" like on the
2400 and 1800 or are there small rollers like on the Epson 2200?
Is there a way to lift the "pizza wheels/rollers" out of the
way so that they dont strike the paper or digital film substrate?

Hi Susan,
If you are referring to what I would call micro-scratches that usually
are in the direction of the paper travel, they don't show up in the
print. It is very easy to get these scratches and I haven't yet seen a
printer that would not make them on the film—but they shouldn't be a
problem.
Best Wishes,

Sandy,
A little off topic of this thread, but your mention of pizza wheel
marks reminded me.... My 1280 is causing vertical marks on the
Pictorico OHP I'm using. They are not inked marks, but seem to be
long scratches on the back of the film. Any idea what those are?
thanks,
Susan
