Hi Sandy, The simplest way is to make a 256 step tablet and use the eyedropper tool—look for repeated values on adjacent steps. I agree, if you find you can't get enough density—it is possible you may have to add black as a last resort.. and example of this is the R1800 printer... which for some reason Epson chose not to put an ink configuration setting in the driver.... too bad!
