Actually Mark-- you are sending attachments. HTML formated e-mail classifies as an attachment. There are others who are guilty too though. Since the listserv doesn't reject the e-mail we have to consider plain text a toothless law or sending in plain text an act of "philia". Turn off "Compose Messages in HTML Format" in your e-mail client settings for this account or change the "Options" "Format" in your Thunderbird to "Plain Text Only".
