I keep my prepared sizing in a refrigerator, and take the portion I use
and heat it up. I don't go through heat cycles more than necessary.

However, I think gelatin's mechanical and chemical property  is a lot
more easily degraded by bacterial growth rather than a few extra cycles
of heating.
