Attn. Chris + All. Gum, Gelatine + Direct Carbon.

Chris, I am sure, and I hope, though, that you will be passing on to your students, who may not have direct access to this list, some of what is discussed here  particularly  re. the techniques of Fresson + Direct Carbon etc., when you can get time away from your bibliography work which seems very important to you, currently.
Sharing of our stuff ( the results and failures from practical experimenting?) is neat and I sometimes wonder what our motives are in doing so. There must be different reasons for each of us. Maybe there are no conscious motives for some. Thanks for sharing your stuff.
                  Keep digging. Happy hols.

''Thanks, John, and I'm loving reading about all this.  I am not actually
researching this process (I got sidetracked at the library when researching
other stuff and came across Metzner's imagery), but it is intriguing in the
light of gum bichromate (which I am researching). I'm tempted to add some
gelatin to the mix and see what happens, but regardless, it's neat when a
topic is started where others of you share your stuff.

I will email Nadeau..
