Hi Susan,

My dad used an old argus C3 (new at the time) — the Brick took lots of vacation and family shots.

he and mom gave me my first camera for Christmas when I was about 10 — a Brownie Hawkeye.....instead of photographing the family, I went outside and photographed the trees that were covered from an ice storm the night before.

35mm he'd picked up in a pawn shop I think..  No meters, no nothing.
It (and he), taught me to judge exposure, and hooked me on
