Bichromate is the old name. Its the same chemical, K2Cr2O7.

Is there a difference between potassium bichromate and potassium dichromate?
If I have the latter and a formula calls for the former, can I use it? I am
thinking that they are interchangable but want to make sure.

Thanks -
