Re: any photo related events/shows in DC area?

I can definitely second that the Kathleen Ewing Gallery is worth a visit. I've met her and her staff several times at AIPAD and they were very nice and quite open to showing stuff. Send them an email ahead of time and maybe they can pull out some specific stuff for you. August Sander is one of the artists currently being exhibited. http://www.kathleenewinggallery.com/
The National Gallery is also worth a visit if you are looking for things to do.

Hello,

I liked Kathleen Ewing Gallery and Hemphill Gallery- haven't seen them for 10 years. I will be going in Oct. to see them.

Subject: any photo related events/shows in DC area?

I'm traveling to DC area in a couple of days and I would like
to hear if there's a must-see photography-related event/show
going on now... if not, what's a good site to check out about
current events there? All I can find is anti-Iraq-war
protesting and such...
