Re: cyanotype frames

Carole,
I have standardized my framing to be the same mat color (called "white elephant" by Bainbridge, I think) and a frame by framingsupplies.com called Designer Series metal old world pewter--like a P-23 number or something.  I keep lengths of 16, 20, 24 on hand at all time.  The mat is a sort of barely off white but it is not yellow exactly but leans a bit yellow-pinky white.  It is perfect for cyanotypes, gums, and pt/pd--all alt.

Subject: cyanotype frames

Greetings All

This question was brought up in March '03. Here it is again with further parameters.
What are folks using to frame "straight" cyanotype prints? By straight I mean masked exposure, unmanipulated, single process with simple window mats.

TIA and Happy New Year
Carole
