You're welcome, these really are amazing. They remind me of the
daguerreotype, because of the shiny support, except of course these have a
gold color instead of the silver of the daguerreotype. Also here the support
provides the hilights while the image forming particles provide the shadows,
the reverse of the daguerreotype.

PS: I have read that it is possible to get a gold color on the daguerreotype
with prolonged (cold) gold chloride toning... I believe this is in
Humphrey's handbook. These make me feel like trying it!
