Hi,
Following your Anthotype discussion with great interest... i'm just
in the process of experimenting with spices to see if it will work -
not great results yet.
But, since the topic started off with a question about plants and
photosynthesis, i just thought I'd mention the photosynthesis
"process" too, as another way of working with plants in a non-toxic
way... Lloyd Godman in New Zealand has a small publication on the
subject called "Working with plants", self-published i think.
The process basically involves sticking a stencil to a plant or a
fruit, and when the plant grows or the fruit ripens, it leaves a mark
where the stencil was.
According to Christopher James' book (mentioned before) this was also
used in france to enhance table decorations.
