Hi,
We would like to send you a reminder that we are hosting a couple of events this week at Project Basho in Philadelphia. On Friday, April 18th at 6:45pm, we are hosting a lecture by Diana Bloomfield. Diana will be discussing her 25 years of photographic experience focusing on pinhole photography and historical 19th century printing processes such as Gum Bichromate and Platinum/Palladium. Diana will also be showing her award winning images. Admission for the lecture is $10 for general admission or $5 for students. Also, we are hosting the first Movie Night at Project Basho Gallery featuring “Blow Up” (1966) on Sunday, April 20th at 6:30pm. “Blow Up” plunges you into the life of a hip successful fashion photographer in 1960s London. His life of easy sex, booze, fast cars, and fashion is becoming mundane until he unknowingly photographs a murder. The protagonist investigates his negatives and prints in an effort to solve this murder mystery. Admission for the movie night is free. Our current Collotype exhibition is still up on the walls. If you have not had a chance to see these beautifully crafted collotype prints, these are great occasions to see the prints. If you have questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us. Hope to see you at the studio.
