Ah ha ! Now that you mention it I recall that Bob Schramm had a formula that used (if memory serves) lead acetate to make a supposedly more lavender-y cyano ... I think he even sent me a sample -- this was approximately 132 years ago, but, though it was definitely a different shade of blue, to my eye it wasn't very lavender. (I'm being nice -- first, because I hate to be wrong in print, and 2nd, because Bob is so clever I fear to contradict him... but as I recall, I included his formula in the Post-Factory #5 section on cyano toning, so anyone who cares to is free to try it.

It's 2:40 AM now, practically next week) too late to look it up, but if there's a request I'll put it on the list next time I get here, which should be Saturday at the latest.
