Re: haiti etc.

OHHH LOLOL Michael I had no idea there was anything but Haiti Haiti.

BTW--as far as name dropping, if it makes any difference I haven't seen the beach while here. No rum punches at the tropical bar for me, it has been a working trip. Very rewarding though and Ryuji got it completely correct in his description. Awesome place in need of great help. Hope my pictures will be one way to help but even that was not my main intention to travel here.

When there are poor roads, no sanitation methods to speak of, no money, no jobs, spotty electricity in places, it's almost hard to know where to begin to help. The media is helping to scare people away with all the stories of unrest and then even less help comes this way.

UN is alive and well here it seems, keeping order. From Chile mostly....

Hi Chris. Maybe you could try to be an itsibitsi bit more specific when you're doing the
name-dropping? Sweaty dirty parched. So are you in Haiti, Missouri? or Haiti, Texas?

Dear List,
I am in Haiti at the moment where my email is spotty but tonight's the
night! I can't imagine there are any listmembers here??

Can't wait to do some gums of my pix down here but it will be a real
test of color balance to get the range of flesh tones from pale white
Montana after-winter-is-over skin to bittersweet chocolate Haitian.
Well actually I don't think winter is over in MT as I just read they
had 2 ft of snow in the mountains. As I sit down here sweating and
dirty and hot and parched.

Shows--Anyone in the Tribeca area near John Allan's Gallery NYC, there
are 8 of my gum prints there. Don't ask me the address--don't know it
yet...

Love to read the gum thread of this past week. Finally someone
posting!

Chris
