Re: Alt Workshop TA Needed (now!)
Dan,
Apparently they found you one, but I had a great student lined up for you
ASAP, Ken Rand, so if this assistant doesn't show, let me know. I have 150
majors in our program only 260 miles away, and many have taken alt from me
and all are digitally savvy.

Subject: Alt Workshop TA Needed (now!)
Hi Al,
Just got word from Photographers' Formulary that the scheduled assistant
had a family issue arise that knocks him out of the workshop. The
workshop runs from this Sunday evening (July 27) through Friday at noon
(August 1). It's a neat opportunity since you get the workshop for free
and all your room and board is covered too (and the food is incredible!).
You just have to pay your own airfare to/from the Missoula airport
(assuming you're flying in). The Formulary will pick you up at the
airport and take you back for your return trip home. Such a deal!
This is a fine opportunity for anyone with a flexible schedule. You're
sure to pick up lots of new alt and digital info, make new friends, see
terrific scenery, learn HDR shooting and processing techniques, gain a
few pounds and watch the sun fall across the Montana mountains.
A working familiarity with hand-coated processes is a good thing, along
with a basic Photoshop comfort level.
If anyone's interested please contact me at 518-678-7186. Sorry for the
late notice but this just came up.
Many thanks!
Dan
