Re: Alt collections in Europe
Just to say again that the SFP is a great place , you can handle Demachy ,
Puyo print and so much other . The best way to visit the place is to call
them at least 2 weeks before so you can have an appointment .
I also suggest you to ask for the lippman color image.

Thanks for the info, Ding & al!
September 7 will be too soon, we are talking about more like late fall -
early spring. But Paris will definitely be a place to visit, and musée
d'Orsay is beautiful - last time I was there (1999 I believe) they had a
magnificent van Gogh exhibition...
But, we'd love also to expand our visit from temporary ongoing shows to
"hidden", more or less permanent collections. In that sense Société
française de photographie, suggested by Chris, sounds great.
I'm asking this info because we need to make a travel plan very soon to
get it accepted in the budget. I think a round trip to London to Paris to
some place (or two) in continental Europe would be the most realistic to
execute.
Before that, a colleague of mine, Pirkko, will be staying in Rome (in late
october if I'm remembering correctly), and we'd also appreciate your
advice on places to visit there.
Thank you
- Jalo
