I've noticed that there i no mention here of Gordon Chapple's
unfortunate death last week. Gordon was a fine carbon printer:
www.gordonchapple.com.
Gordon and his wife were hiking in Escalante Canyon in Utah and
got caught in a slot canyon and were killed in a sudden flood. His two adult
children and two guides survived. A quick Google will retrieve a number of news
articles about he and his wife Kathy's demise.
Gordon attended the carbon symposium here in Santa Fe in August
and demoed his carbon printing methods. Pictures of Gordon at the symposium
are available at:

One also includes our very own Sandy King. Gordon was a very sharing person and
was quite charismatic. He will be missed.
