I've noticed that there i no mention here of Gordon Chapple's unfortunate death last week. Gordon was a fine carbon printer: www.gordonchapple.com.

 

Gordon and his wife were hiking in Escalante Canyon in Utah and got caught in a slot canyon and were killed in a sudden flood. His two adult children and two guides survived. A quick Google will retrieve a number of news articles about he and his wife Kathy's demise.

 

Gordon attended the carbon symposium here in Santa Fe in August and demoed his carbon printing methods.  Pictures of Gordon at the symposium are available at:
