So my ISP & computer conspired to keep me off line until this afternoon (no comments please about old Macs and dial up, I mean this IS an OLD PROCESSES list, isn't it ?), tho, interestingly, one call to Panix tech support fixed it.... Not that they did anything or told me anything, you understand, but that suddenly everything worked just fine ....

But that's not why I'm writing, which is to say that,

put the Post-Factory "debate" with A.D Coleman about the evil conspiracy cooked up by Beaumont Newhall, Ansel Adams and company to deny Mortensen his rightful place in the history of photography...

Richard writes that:

So, with thanks to Richard, and my rueful recollection that someone (and, drat! I forget who !) once said that the illiterates of the future will be ignorant of photography... Today, those of us unable to post a file online look like the new illiterati....

Anyway, and however, with many thanks to Richard, I note that (besides the compelling logic of my argument, of course), there are a couple of juicy tidbits about the action figures involved...

best

Judy (who anyway can at least touch type !)
