Thanks Eric, was it Strathmore 400/500?  Not sure if anyone sells the stuff in the UK - could be wrong though.

I made a waxed paper neg once and kept the paper wet by keeping it in between glass to keep it wet in the holder.
I'm pretty sure I used Strathmore Artist Drawing single ply which is my go-to paper when a thin sheet is needed.

Can anyone recommend a suitable paper for Calotypes / Waxed Paper Negatives available in the UK?

I'm using Bienfang 360 at the moment, ordered from the USA - postage costs are crazy.  Looking for a lightweight cotton or linen paper, sized with gelatin/starch, w/o watermarks.  Has anyone tried common stationary to make Calotypes?

Thanks
