I have a Lumix DMC-FX07, 7 Megapixel. It has a very nice Leica lens
attached. The most useful facility (and this is why I bought it) is that
it has a black and white mode. I use this for  checking tonal values and
relationships before hauling out the 5x4 or 10x8.

It also has a reasonably sized histogram facility which helps. Only
records in JPEG however.
