Serious flooding has occurred over many
sections of the state. However for me, the plantation house is on high ground
so we were not impacted negatively, though certain parts of the plantation such
as the rice fields maybe over flooded for days or weeks. It will take me a
while to cover all of the plantation acreage to see what’s what, unfortunately
hiring a helicopter to do a fly over is just too expensive these days. The
ground is just too wet and muddy to ride or drive through. I think we are
through with the drought!
