I don't see anything in there that would make for better digital negatives over the control offered for Epson printers by QTR (I don't use other brands so can't comment). It does have some nice convenience issues, though, convenience does not make for a better digital negative. Plus, the cost of just a pro Onyx RIP is in line with the cost of 44" epson printer. Hopefully I'm wrong, though!
