However, Sandy King rejected the 1400 only because of max ink density of 1.8. He has no other criticism of the printer but he needed a one stop shop for his diginegs and wantedto use PDN. If you look further in to the archives you will see that the density CAN be achieved using this system for identifying the correct colour to print. http://www.alternativephotography.com/articles/art056.html There is lots of stuff in the archive regarding printers. regards
