	I use the equivalent of 500g of Pot Ox in 1.5 liters...the classic
concentration.  What concentration are you using?

Thanks for the explanation, Bob..  Never heard of that, but I'm gonna  
try it now and see what happens.  I've been using PVA, undiluted, for  
coating on BFK Rives paper-- one thin coat which works like a charm  
for me-- and has made *most* of my problems disappear-- but never  
heard of using it in a pt/pd emulsion.  But now I'm gonna put in a  
drop or two next time I make a pt/pd print and see what happens.

The only time I've ever experienced the bleeding that you mention is  
when my developer (potassium oxalate) was weak, or perhaps  
contaminated.  I was never sure which it was.  It's happened to me a  
couple of times, and each time I just started over with the developer,  
which is where I always thought the problem was-- and things seem to  
be fine after that.  I do seem to have to use a lot more potassium  
oxalate to water than what I often see suggested, though.
