Not a whole lot you have to do.  Pretty much plug & play.  You should check online at Epson and see if there is a newer driver available, and if so, download and install that.


I would stick with the original inks.


Be sure to try out the Advanced Black & White (ABW) printing option—great output!

I'm excited! Just received email from the Epson distributor and my R2880 is in Riyadh. I just have to go and pick it up! Then, my question, can anyone recommend a way to calibrate it, or is it pretty cut and dry through the instructions? After a regular print job, I'll likely only use it for making negs. Should I swap out the color for a set of black inks? 
 
It's like buying a motorbike without knowing how to ride one...exciting!
