Trevor, you have to choose the profile that lays the most ink *which
the substrate is able to hold* when making digital negatives. I'm not
sure about the current Epsons but this usually is the profile for
glossy premium quality photo papers, as you already have suggested.
Pictorico (and Agfa SelectJet/CopyJet) is able to hold ink when using
that profile...
