thanks ever so much for the input. At least I'll be able to make it work if
the next batch is the SOS. I tried to give my good lot number to the
customer service person, and she just didn't want to hear it. I was
flabbergasted. At least take the number and maybe , just maybe they might
use it. Don't take it, and the guy in the warehouse have NO chance.
I'll let you know what happens when it shows up.

Yes, my latest batch is from DS as well, bought in late spring of 2010.
It needed much more acidification than any paper previously, about 8% for
15-20 min if I recall. I'll check my notes...
Without the heavy acidification, I had the same results as you have shown...
