Sorry to hear that you feel that way Judy.  Perhaps you're only saying this because you're a gummist and don't want to have to mine and grind those pigments.  Sarcastically, I can't help but wonder how photography every got invented without, Kodak, Agfa or Dupont?  No doubt, you're not alone in your view.  Recently, I have had to go overseas to buy products that are similar to those that used to be made and sold by big corporations here (AMPEX, 3M, DuPont, Kodak); apparently the items were not profitable enough for the behemoths.  In all cases the products are now being manufactured by small concerns in other countries.  At the risk of getting too political - we've grown pretty dumb (and lazy) over here of late and swallowed the line of BS that has been dished out for us.
