Hi Chris,
This seems to be the case but I don't understand why it would happen, because the adjustments I make are not directly related to ink controls.
I'll take a densitometry reading of both CDRPs to compare the difference . . .
Jeremy, here are the adjustments that I make in the Epson driver, "Advanced Media Control" menu to counteract the venetian blinds:
Paper Feed Adjustment = -35 (instead of "0" default)Paper Thickness = 5 (instead of "3" default)Platen Gap = Standard (instead of "Auto" default)
I arrived at these figures after a series of tests recommended by Epson indicating that adjustments to these settings would improve my results and combat the venetian blinds (it's mostly the Paper Feed Adjustment that does the trick).
