Hi Trevor,

Rabbitskin glue is used in making traditional gesso - which is applied
on "panels". I don't think it would work well on paper, because it's
brittle when dry...

BTW, maybe you can try to locate a "clear" and "waterproof" PVA glue.
I use such a product (not Gamblin stuff - it's a wood / paper glue)
with great success. Beware: You may need to try several products to
find one that does the job - I was lucky, the first product I've tried
worked very well.
