Oh, Peter, sorry you misunderstood!

I didn't give up at all! I discovered what works for me, with the help 
of this list, a couple of workshops with Scott McMahon and Chris 
Anderson, and lots of practice. I can use just about any pigment I 
choose, with only a couple of exceptions (there's a green, for example, 
that just doesn't work). Please check out my website and my flickr
