DEAR PAUL,
	I have been scanning negs without fluid for years with my Epson 4990
but the difference with a wet gate is significant so I intend to put the
V750 to best possible use.

Bob,

Why not try a scan or two without fluid and see if it works for you...?

I get great scans without fluid on the V700 and wouldn't even let that enter

my workflow unless the results were dramatically better...
