[alt-photo] A few alt-photo classes at Penland this summer

As usual, the Penland School of Crafts summer program has a nice selection
of photo workshops (full disclosure: I work there). Of particular interest
to alt photo people are Heather Wetzel's class on Copper Plate Gravure,
which runs July 22-August 7 and Michelle Bates's plastic camera workshop,
August 26-September 1.

Also, the excellent Maxine Payne will teach an intro black and white
film/darkroom class (is that "alt" yet?), July 8-20.

The deadline for scholarship applications is February 17, but they have to
be submitted by mail or other delivery service, so please pass this along
quickly if you know anyone who might be interested in a Penland
scholarship.
