That's been my feelings exactly—cyano blue tends to be too intense for the other pigments in gum work.However, I think Christina has been able to pull it off nicely. I find her approachto cyano-gum as proof that the blue can be "tamed" somewhat. But much if not most other gum over cyano work I've seen is a bit objectionable for the very reason you mention, Diana.  On the other hand the intense blue might be appealing to many as they associate it with theblue of a regular cyanotype. I can only appreciate cyanotype when it has been toned.
