Hey Jack,
I wondered about Judy, too. The Village and the rest of lower Manhattan are in pretty bad shape, it would seem. I'm sure she's fine, but the lower floor in her house might be flooded. My daughter lives down near Battery Park, and they called for an evacuation of her building Sunday night. She packed up and left to stay with a friend in Brooklyn, but not many people left. (Evacuation was optional, I guess.) Now her building is completely closed-- the lobby was totally flooded; elevators don't work; the power is out-- and they don't know when people can move back in. She said Brooklyn was fine. Scary stuff.
