Thanks. I do a separate path and use 60ml 37% formalin in 4 liters of water.
Seems like I could use less formalin. What do you think?

No need to wash after formalin hardening. Formalin evaporates readily.
Could be different for other kinds of hardeners...

P.S. Mind that I use very little formalin, 0.5ml per 100ml 3% gelatin
solution.
