"To try to set the record straight I have spoken to Andrew Robinson, who
worked for us at the time and was in charge of book ordering. Although we
had received a number of shipments from Luis Nadeau, at some point about
two years ago we received no confirmation of a new order. Andrew
retransmitted the faxed order a number of times to no avail, so we assumed
that Luis had either moved or no longer wished to supply us. We have not
received any enquiries from his direction either; if we had, we would
certainly have responded as we still have a demand for his books. Possibly
the address or phone number that he holds for us is incorrect.
I think it would be sensible if small points of confusion like this were
sorted out by the private exchange of letters or faxes, rather than
broadcasting questionable information around the globe.
Silverprint is very much in business, will be on the Net imminently and
able to respond to e-correspondence in person. Meanwhile, hopefully, this
particular topic is now closed.
Martin Reed."
